Harkins Builders

Harkins Builders wanted to update their image, culture, and brand, and the first step in this mission was a redesign of their headquarters in Columbia, MD. As a step in broadcasting their new identity, Harkins selected our rough sawn pine blanks for the walls and ceilings in their lobby; when visitors emerge from the elevators, they’re greeted with a space that manages to be both warm and modern, sleek and richly textured. The use of our material in the space suggests that the folks at Harkins revere history without being stuck in the past.
