We got a call from a couple living on Capitol Hill in DC looking to match the existing vertical grain heart pine in their late 19th century rowhouse. We sourced an exact match and prepared it for installation, making sure that it could be laid as easily as when it when it was first installed over 110 years ago. After the project was complete, we were told it was almost impossible to tell which flooring was original to the house and which flooring was ours. That’s the greatest compliment we could get.
